PETROSOL Platinum Energy PLC Appoints Four Senior Officials

PETROSOL Platinum Energy PLC has announced the appointment of four professionals to its Senior Leadership Team following Board approval after the successful completion of their probation period.

The appointments form part of the company’s broader strategy to strengthen operational excellence, improve governance, enhance customer service, develop talent, drive sustainable growth, and maintain profitability.

The newly appointed executives are Philip Boamah Assampong, Michael Affum Oseikoh, Isaac Debezor and Rita Afful.

In a statement, the Chief Executive Officer of PETROSOL, Michael Bozumbil, said the strengthened leadership team reflects the company’s commitment to building a resilient, innovative and customer-focused energy business capable of delivering sustainable growth and long-term value to stakeholders.

The Board also expressed confidence that the appointments would help support the achievement of the company’s strategic objectives and future expansion plans.

Mr. Assampong, who now heads PETROSOL’s retail marketing division, brings more than 15 years of experience in the energy sector, having previously worked with Vivo Energy Ghana. He was recognised as Best Shell Territory Manager in Africa in 2015 and holds an MBA in Marketing alongside several professional certifications in digital marketing, brand communication and customer service.

Mr. Oseikoh, appointed Head of Finance & Planning, is a Chartered Accountant with experience in finance, auditing and taxation across multinational firms including Air Liquide and KPMG. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana.

Mr. Debezor, who takes over as Head of Risk & Internal Audit, has more than 12 years of experience in governance, enterprise risk management and operational excellence. He is a Certified Risk-Based Internal Auditor and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors Ghana.

Ms. Afful, appointed Human Resources Manager, has professional experience with organisations including GIZ and Majorel. She holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources – International (SPHRi) designation, reflecting her expertise in global human resource management and talent development.
