GOIL Secures Two Awards At 2025 CIMG Marketing Performance Ceremony

GOIL PLC has received two awards at the 37th Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana (CIMG) Annual National Marketing Performance Awards held at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra.

The company was recognised as Marketing Oriented Petroleum Company of the Year for 2025 and retained its position in the CIMG Hall of Fame’s petroleum category.

GOIL said the honours reflected its continued focus on marketing excellence, customer satisfaction, innovation and the delivery of quality petroleum products.

The company has an extensive presence in Ghana’s downstream petroleum market, operating more than 400 fuel stations, alongside an LPG bottling plant and a bitumen production facility.

Figures from the National Petroleum Authority indicate that GOIL sold 751.34 million litres of petroleum products between January and August 2026, exceeding the 696.88 million litres recorded by competitor Star Oil Ghana over the same period.

Following the awards, GOIL’s management expressed appreciation to the company’s board and employees for their dedication and contribution to its performance.

“We dedicate these achievements to our loyal customers, dedicated staff and stakeholders whose continued trust and support drive us to do more,” the company said.

The recognition adds to GOIL’s industry profile as it continues to compete in Ghana’s downstream petroleum market.
