Global Energy Giants Target Ghana’s Upstream Sector – Hon. Jinapor 

The Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Hon. John Abdulai Jinapor has revealed that Ghana’s upstream petroleum sector is attracting renewed interest from major international oil and gas companies. Speaking at the 31st Africa Oil Week in Accra, the Minister credited government reforms and investor-friendly policies for rebuilding confidence and drawing fresh commitments from global energy giants. 

Hon. Jinapor described the development as a powerful vote of confidence in Ghana’s stable investment climate. He said the arrival of new players will replenish the country’s resource base, create jobs, and secure Ghana’s long-term energy future, as government continues to drive exploration and innovation in the petroleum sector.
