Exoben Inc., a U.S.-based energy and mining company with significant operations in Ghana, has initiated a $112.5 million private offering aimed at accelerating its growth in gold production, advanced battery technologies, and clean energy systems. This offering is open to qualified U.S. investors under Regulation D and international investors under Regulation S.
Kofi Akomeah, CEO of Exoben, described the initiative as a pivotal step in the company’s journey, stating, “We’ve laid the groundwork. Now we’re scaling.” The funds raised will support high-impact projects, including the commencement of gold production from a substantial stockpile in Ghana, expected to yield over 245,000 ounces later this year.
Additionally, Exoben plans to reprocess 20 million tonnes of old mining material using modern techniques that enhance environmental outcomes and create jobs. On the technology front, the company is developing next-generation battery systems for long-range electric vehicles and affordable storage solutions for homes and off-grid areas, with active research in both Ghana and Texas.
Exoben is also establishing fast-charging stations for electric vehicles in African cities and deploying solar energy solutions to rural communities lacking stable electricity. Akomeah emphasized that Exoben is not just a mining company but an innovation company focused on creating long-term value and making a positive impact on communities.
Investors in this private offering will receive preferred shares priced at $1.50, providing equity in a company backed by physical assets and secured resource concessions. Gold revenues are expected to begin in Q4 2025, with additional income from battery and energy products anticipated by 2026. All participants will undergo a formal qualification process to ensure responsible capital allocation. Akomeah expressed a desire for partners who believe in long-term impact, highlighting the company’s commitment to addressing community needs through sustainable solutions.
