
The Executive Secretary of the Energy Commission, Ing. Eunice A. Biritwum, has paid a working visit to Tema Port as part of efforts to strengthen oversight of Ghana’s energy sector. The visit, on January 16, 2026, underscored the Commission’s commitment to energy security, transparency and efficiency at one of the country’s most strategic ports.
During the engagement, the Executive Secretary interacted with inspectors, customs officers and port authorities to enhance collaboration, ensure compliance with energy regulations and address operational challenges. The visit also focused on improving efficiency, supporting capacity building and safeguarding the entry of safe and compliant energy equipment, reinforcing Ghana’s long-term energy security and governance framework.
