
Edward Ekow Obeng-Kenzo, the Acting Chief Executive of the Volta River Authority (VRA), was honored with a Special Leadership Award in the Energy Sector at the 2025 CEO Summit held in Accra.
The award, presented by President John Dramani Mahama, Special Guest of Honor at the event,recognized Obeng-Kenzo’s outstanding leadership and contributions to Ghana’s energy generation sector.
The CEO Summit, now in its ninth edition, is a premier platform that brings together top business leaders for high-level engagement and promotion of public-private partnerships.
Obeng-Kenzo was celebrated alongside other distinguished chief executives, mainly from the private sector, who were also acknowledged for innovation and impact in their respective fields.
