Minister for Energy and Green Transition Applauds NPA CEO for Forward-Thinking Leadership

 

During the 20th anniversary celebration of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Hon. John Abdulai Jinapor praised the Authority’s Chief Executive, Dr. Edudzi Kudzo Tameklo, for his outstanding leadership in the downstream petroleum sector.

Hon. Jinapor highlighted that Dr. Tameklo’s work has significantly strengthened regulatory stability, describing him as a young, intelligent, and dynamic lawyer whose problem-solving abilities consistently deliver practical solutions during sector challenges.

Hon. Jinapor emphasized that Dr. Tameklo exemplifies modern public-sector leadership, bringing sharp technical insight and proactive decision-making at a time when global energy systems are undergoing rapid transformation.

He noted that the NPA CEO’s strategic and forward-looking approach has energized the Authority’s operations, positioning it to better support Ghana’s energy transition and future market reforms.

The Minister concluded by urging the NPA to maintain this high standard of leadership, stressing that Ghana’s evolving energy landscape depends on innovative and knowledgeable leaders like its current Chief Executive.
