
Kosmos Energy reported a net production of 33,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d) in Ghana during the first quarter of 2025, reflecting steady output from the West African nation’s established oil fields.
In a statement to investors, CEO Andy Inglis expressed strong confidence in Ghana’s offshore prospects, emphasizing significant untapped potential in the basin, especially near current producing assets.
Inglis highlighted that near-term development activities focused around existing infrastructure offer promising returns and operational efficiencies.
