
Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has restored its electricity vending and payment systems after service disruptions caused by recent flooding.
In a statement issued on June 30, 2026, the power distributor confirmed that restoration works had been completed, allowing customers to resume the purchase of electricity credit through all available channels.
ECG said customers can now buy prepaid electricity units via the ECG PowerApp or at authorised vending points nationwide.
The company advised customers who continue to encounter vending difficulties to contact its Customer Contact Centre or seek assistance through its official social media platforms.
ECG also thanked customers for their patience, understanding, and cooperation while efforts were underway to restore the affected systems following the flood-related disruptions.
