
A delegation of Anlo chiefs, led by Torgbi Agbesi Awusu II, the Awadada of Anlo, visited Godwin Edudzi Tameklo, CEO of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), in Accra to commend his transformative leadership. Representing Awomefia Togbi Sri III, the overlord of Anlo State, they lauded Tameklo’s contributions to law, human rights, and public service.
The chiefs highlighted his past role as NDC’s Director of Legal Affairs and his current impact at the NPA, calling him a role model for integrity and courage. They also extended an invitation for him to attend the 2025 Hogbetsotso Festival in November, pledging a warm reception.
In response, Tameklo expressed gratitude and vowed to support the festival’s success, emphasizing unity among chiefs for regional and national development. The delegation included paramount chiefs and queen mothers, reinforcing the strong bond between the Anlo State and Tameklo as a leader dedicated to public good.
