Algeria Reaffirms Commitment to Strengthening African Energy Cooperation at Luanda Summit

Algeria has reiterated its strategic commitment to deepening energy cooperation across the African continent during the 17th U.S.-Africa Business Summit in Luanda, Angola.

 Speaking on behalf of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Energy Minister Mohamed Arkab praised Angola’s leadership and stressed the urgency of moving from dialogue to the concrete implementation of energy projects that benefit the continent.

He outlined Algeria’s major initiatives aimed at strengthening continental energy integration, including the Trans-Saharan Gas Pipeline, regional electricity interconnections, renewable energy expansion, and the Green Hydrogen Plan, projects that position the country as a key player in clean energy production and export.
