Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) has promoted 1,500 employees on a merit-based system, reinforcing its focus on staff welfare and fostering a high-performing workforce.
The company’s spokesperson, Sani Bala Sani, said the promotion marks a significant milestone in KEDCO’s history and reflects the firm’s commitment to developing its human capital under the leadership of core investor Future Energies Africa (FEA) and the current management team. The process followed a detailed performance appraisal, ensuring fairness, transparency, and alignment with corporate governance standards.
Speaking on the development, KEDCO’s Managing Director and CEO, Dr. Abubakar Shuaibu Jimeta, described the promotions as a strategic investment in employees.
