
Tanzania’s Minister for Energy, Deogratius Ndejembi, has taken part in a High Level Ministerial Dialogue convened by the International Energy Agency in Paris, France.
The meeting, held on February 18, 2026, focused on strategies to broaden universal access to energy and accelerate the rollout of clean cooking solutions. The dialogue forms part of wider international efforts aimed at tackling climate change and promoting sustainable energy systems to support economic growth and social development.
Mr Ndejembi was accompanied by Tanzania’s Ambassador to France, Ali Jabir Mwadini, alongside energy sector experts from the Ministry of Energy and officials from the Tanzanian Embassy in France.
Tanzania’s engagement in the discussions underscores the government’s commitment to deepening international collaboration in the energy sector and advancing policies that promote clean, safe and affordable energy access for its citizens.
