NOVA Fuel Expands with 18th Station, Aims for Industry Leadership

NOVA Fuel, a Ghanaian oil marketing company, has inaugurated its 18th fuel filling station in Walewale, North East Region, as part of a strategic plan to become the leading Oil Marketing Company (OMC) in Ghana within five years. At the launch event, Managing Director Kwasi Zigah highlighted the company’s commitment to expanding its reach across the nation, stating their goal to serve every community.

Currently operating in major locations like Accra and Takoradi, NOVA Fuel ensures consistent fuel availability at competitive prices, utilizing their own tankers for transportation. Additionally, the company is introducing Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) services, allowing local residents to exchange old gas cylinders for new ones, reinforcing their support for the government’s green energy initiatives.

Deputy Energy Minister Richard Gyan-Mensah commended NOVA for its commitment to cleaner fuel practices, encouraging other industry players to follow suit. Local leaders also praised the company for its investment in the community and job creation. The new station not only provides fuel and LPG but also positions NOVA Fuel as a significant contributor to Ghana’s energy transition and economic growth.
