Motorists in Kenya are set to benefit from a special one-day fuel promotion after Vivo Energy Kenya, the marketer and distributor of Shell-branded fuels in the country, announced a discount on petrol purchases across its network of more than 340 service stations.
The promotion, dubbed “Shell Magical Friday,” will take place on Friday, June 19, as part of the company’s efforts to reward customers for their loyalty and continued patronage.
Under the offer, customers will be able to purchase premium Shell V-Power fuel at the same price as Shell FuelSave Unleaded at participating service stations nationwide.
Managing Director of Vivo Energy Kenya, Mr. Peter Murungi, said the initiative is intended to show appreciation to customers despite prevailing market challenges.
According to him, motorists will save KSh15 per litre, with both Shell FuelSave Unleaded and Shell V-Power retailing at KSh214.03 per litre during the promotion period.
Mr. Murungi noted that Shell V-Power, which is exclusively imported and distributed in Kenya by Vivo Energy, offers enhanced engine protection and improved vehicle performance by helping to clean critical engine components and prevent the build-up of deposits.
He added that the premium fuel is trusted by leading motorsport brands, including Scuderia Ferrari HP, Ducati Corse and the BMW M series, due to its advanced cleaning and performance-enhancing properties.
