GNPC to Host 7th APPO National Oil Companies CEOs Meeting in Accra

The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) is set to host the 7th African Petroleum Producers’ Organisation (APPO) National Oil Companies (NOCs) CEOs Meeting in Accra from September 14 to 15, 2025. This significant event will gather CEOs and senior executives from 19 African oil-producing countries to discuss strategic collaboration, innovation, and sustainability within the continent’s petroleum sector.

Kwame Ntow Amoah, Acting CEO of GNPC and Chair of the APPO NOC CEOs Forum, will lead the discussions, underscoring Ghana’s increasing influence in the energy sector and GNPC’s role in fostering regional partnerships. Mr. Amoah emphasized that the summit reflects Ghana’s importance in the petroleum industry and GNPC’s dedication to promoting cooperation and innovation for collective advancement.

Aligned with Africa Oil Week (AOW) 2025, the two-day meeting aims to produce actionable outcomes regarding shared infrastructure, local content, innovation, and investment opportunities, thereby enhancing intra-African energy collaboration.
