The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has committed to improving power supply and customer service for residents in the Ashanti Region. This pledge was made during a stakeholder engagement forum held at the Prempeh Assembly Hall in Kumasi, chaired by Ashanti Regional Minister Dr. Frank Amoakohene. ECG officials, including four general managers and the regional operations manager, presented ongoing and planned infrastructure projects designed to ensure a reliable electricity supply.
The forum provided an opportunity for participants to raise concerns, to which the ECG team responded directly. In addition to infrastructure updates, the company highlighted new initiatives aimed at strengthening customer engagement and satisfaction. ECG also emphasized its intention to collaborate more effectively with presiding members and District Chief Executives (DCEs) in their respective districts to enhance communication and cooperation.
Through these efforts, ECG aims to address the needs of the community and ensure a more reliable electricity service, ultimately fostering greater customer trust and satisfaction in the region.
