
The Chamber of Oil Marketing Companies (COMAC) has entered into a strategic partnership with Tamale Technical University to strengthen petroleum marketing education in Ghana. The collaboration will cover student internships and industry attachments, guest lectures, workshops, joint research, curriculum support, staff training, and marketing competitions.
COMAC CEO, Dr. Riverson Oppong, said the initiative aligns with the Chamber’s mission to build capacity and drive innovation in the downstream petroleum sector, while lecturer Abdul-Fatahi Abubakari highlighted the importance of the University’s new BSc Petroleum Marketing programme, designed to equip graduates with practical skills in fuel marketing, logistics, compliance, and customer service.
