Zambia’s Energy Regulation Board (ERB) has lowered fuel prices after the Kwacha gained 4.17 percent against the US dollar in February 2026.
Although international fuel prices increased, with petrol rising 4.22 percent, diesel 7.85 percent, and kerosene Jet A 1 6.70 percent, the stronger local currency helped reduce the impact on domestic prices.
The Energy Regulation Board’s revised pump prices are: petrol K26.61 per litre (down from K27.88), diesel K23.25 per litre (down from K24.50), kerosene K21.06 per litre (down from K22.24), and Jet A 1 K22.39 per litre (down from K23.80).
