
Karpowership Ghana is in discussions with the government to resolve accumulated debt, as the non-payment of invoices is affecting its operations. Sandra Amarquaye, the company’s Communication Manager, stated that Karpowership Ghana had engaged the Ministry of Energy to negotiate and address outstanding financial obligations.
She mentioned that a meeting had been held with the Minister of Energy to bring the issue to his attention and initiate negotiations. While discussions were still ongoing, she emphasized that Karpowership Ghana remained committed to collaborating with the government to find a sustainable solution.
Amarquaye further noted that despite continuing operations, the non-payment of invoices was having an impact. She reaffirmed the company’s commitment to its partnership with Ghana, stressing the importance of resolving the matter to maintain a stable and mutually beneficial relationship.
