
The Minister of Energy and Green Transition, Dr. John Abdulai Jinapor, has engaged the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) and the Budget Department of the Ministry to strengthen collaboration between the government and the private sector.
The meeting, held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, focused on addressing industry-related energy challenges and ensuring a stable power supply for businesses. The AGI took the opportunity to voice concerns about energy policies and their impact on industrial growth.
In response, the Energy Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to working closely with industries to create a favourable business environment through continuous dialogue and policy alignment.
Dr. Jinapor also urged the Budget Department to prioritise the ministry’s key initiatives in the national budget to enhance energy efficiency and economic growth. He emphasised the need for adequate funding for critical projects and policies to ensure their timely implementation.
