Vivo Energy Ghana Supports Children’s Health With Medical Equipment Donation

Vivo Energy Ghana PLC has donated syringe and infusion pumps to the Department of Child Health at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital as part of its annual Energising Hope initiative aimed at improving healthcare delivery for children.

The donation, made on February 23, 2026, is expected to enhance treatment outcomes by enabling the automated and precise administration of fluids, medication and nutrients to young patients at the hospital, which handles a high volume of cases.

Managing Director Christian Li said the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to community development and compassionate corporate responsibility beyond its core energy business.

As part of the outreach, employees of Vivo Energy Ghana also visited the children’s ward with gifts, bringing moments of relief and joy to patients and their families.

Paediatric oncologist Ernestina Schandorf welcomed the support, noting that the equipment would strengthen the department’s capacity to deliver quality healthcare to children undergoing treatment.

The Energising Hope initiative forms part of Vivo Energy Ghana’s broader social investment efforts, reinforcing its commitment to supporting vulnerable communities while contributing to improved healthcare services in Ghana.
